Kids Books That Make You Think
Carolyn Loves Writing Kids Books That Make You Think
One of Carolyn's books is about her fear of flying and putting it into the perspective of kids books about overcoming fear. "This is How I Fly" is a book that explains how the author overcame her fear of flying and the tactics she used to train her mind not to be afraid after facing her fear. The fear of flying is normal for most people. Writing kids books about overcoming fear is taking the fear the author felt and using it for the positive in someone else's life. She explains how flying did not make sense to her, so she read up on more information about flying, and it added to her fears. A friend explained how her right side of the brain controlled the fear, so she could imagine she was on invisible roads in the sky. That way, she felt like she stayed on the ground. It helped her overcome her fear of flying, and she wanted to help others with their fears.
Most of Carolyn's stories are kids books that make you think. Every book has a moral and purpose. All of the kids' books that make you think are an excellent read for parents and children. Its simplicity teaches through the innocence of a child's eyes and how they see the world. It takes a great author to write from their perspective and paint a picture of life and its many lessons. Perhaps it is her teaching skills and the profession as a Kindergarten and Preschool teacher and caretaker that enables her to go down to the childhood level and reach out to them with her stories. It is a strong possibility that her own life story fits into her words that are written to explain things in a way a child can understand. It also stays with the child for the rest of their life. Aesop's Fables is a perfect example. Many of us still remember.
